Performancebenchmarksthatactuallymatter
Vanity metrics are everywhere. What you need is context — how do your numbers stack up against dealers of similar size, in similar markets, selling similar brands? That's what benchmarking delivers.
Five-Category Ranking
Your dealership is scored and ranked across SEO, traffic, conversion, technical quality, and engagement. Each category is weighted and normalised against peers in your segment — no comparing a metro multi-franchise to a regional single-site.
Percentile Tracking
See your exact percentile position within the network for every metric. Track whether you are climbing or slipping over time. Set targets based on real achievable benchmarks, not arbitrary goals.
Gap Analysis
Automatically identifies the metrics where you underperform relative to your peer group. Prioritises gaps by impact — fixing your page speed might matter more than chasing marginal SEO gains.
Best Practice Extraction
When a dealer in your segment outperforms, the system analyses what they are doing differently. You receive specific, actionable recommendations based on real patterns from top performers — not generic advice.
Category Drill-Down
Each of the five categories breaks down into granular metrics. SEO splits into on-page, technical, and authority. Traffic splits into organic, paid, and referral. Drill into the detail that matters for your improvement plan.
Historical Trend Tracking
Your ranking is plotted over time so you can see the impact of changes you have made. Did that SEO overhaul three months ago actually move the needle? The trend line tells you definitively.
Five dimensions of performance
A single overall score hides more than it reveals. Benchmarking breaks performance into five distinct categories so you know exactly where your strengths lie and where you are leaving points on the table.

Knowing your rank is step one. Knowing what to do about it is where the value lives. The recommendation engine analyses top performers in your segment and generates specific actions with expected impact.

Every category is built from granular, measurable metrics — not subjective scores. Here is what the engine evaluates.
SEO
On-page optimisation, meta data quality, keyword targeting, structured data, internal linking, and domain authority signals.
Traffic
Organic sessions, paid click efficiency, referral volume, direct visits, new vs returning ratio, and session depth.
Conversion
VDP-to-enquiry rate, form completion, chat engagement, call-to-action clicks, and lead quality scoring.
Technical
Core Web Vitals, page speed index, mobile usability score, HTTPS compliance, crawl error rate, and accessibility audit.
Engagement
Bounce rate, pages per session, average session duration, scroll depth, video play rate, and return visit frequency.
Overall
Weighted composite score across all five categories, normalised by dealership size and market segment for fair comparison.
Under The Hood
Benchmarkingdeep dive
Each metric is normalised using z-score standardisation against the peer group. Category scores are computed as weighted averages of constituent metrics, with weights determined by correlation to business outcomes (lead volume, conversion rate). The overall rank uses a composite score with configurable category weighting.
Benchmarking data is collected from first-party analytics tracking embedded across dealer websites, search console integration for SEO metrics, and platform-level engagement data. Third-party data is never used. Collection happens continuously with weekly aggregation cycles for ranking updates.
The engine compares your metric profile against the top-quartile performers in your segment. For each underperforming metric, it identifies the specific actions that differentiate top performers from the median. Recommendations are ranked by expected impact, estimated using regression models trained on historical improvement data.
All benchmark data is anonymised before comparison. No dealer can see another dealer's raw metrics or identity. Rankings show your position relative to percentile bands, not specific competitors. Data is aggregated at the segment level — only segments with 10+ dealers are ranked to prevent de-identification.
Historical ranking data is stored for every benchmark cycle. Trend lines show your trajectory across each category with rolling averages to smooth weekly noise. The system flags sustained declines early — if your SEO rank drops three cycles in a row, you get a proactive alert before it becomes a problem.
