Relationships are denormalized for instant reads — no complex joins when your salesperson pulls up a customer mid-call.

Every system event — calls, messages, emails, test drives, deal stage changes, notes, appointments — writes to a unified timeline. Events are timestamped, attributed to source channels, and linked to related records. The timeline is append-only and immutable — nothing gets lost or overwritten.

Intent scores are calculated from weighted activity signals: contact frequency (recency-weighted), channel diversity, deal stage progression, test drive bookings, finance enquiries, and return visit patterns. Scores update in real time as new signals arrive. Trend direction is derived from a rolling window comparison — flagging shifts before they become obvious.

Twelve stages capture the full sales journey: new_lead, contacted, qualified, test_drive, appraisal, negotiation, finance_pending, finance_approved, contract_signed, delivery_scheduled, delivered, and closed.
