Technicalarchitecture
Vehicle feeds are ingested via scheduled pull or real-time webhook from your DMS. Each record passes through a normalisation layer that maps vendor-specific field names to a unified schema, deduplicates listings, and flags data quality issues. New and updated vehicles trigger the enrichment pipeline automatically.
A multi-stage enrichment pipeline adds manufacturer specifications, ANCAP ratings, market pricing data, and AI-generated descriptions. Each stage runs independently and writes results to the vehicle record. Failed enrichments are retried with backoff and flagged for manual review if they persist.
Vehicle data is embedded into high-dimensional vectors using a domain-specific model trained on automotive language. Queries are embedded at request time and matched against the vehicle index using approximate nearest-neighbour search. Results are filtered by dealer, availability, and price range before ranking.
Uploaded photos pass through a classification model that identifies angle (front, rear, side, interior), detects vehicle colour, and checks image quality. Low-quality or duplicate images are flagged. A coverage checker ensures each listing has minimum required angles before publishing.
